Information from Transition Clitheroe
We are running an Introduction to Permaculture Course on 7 and 14 Feb
2010 which will lead on to a full certificated Permaculture Design
Course in Clitheroe from February 2010. The full course takes 12
sessions including the two Introduction days.
Sessions will be on Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm and held in Clitheroe at the Pendle Club, Lowergate, Clitheroe.
Course tutor is Angus Soutar from Darwen, who is very experienced in
running these courses. Further information is provided here.
The course is open to all who want to know more about permaculture and the issues important to the Transition Towns movement. You are welcome to take part in either
the Introduction or the full course, as you wish. A reading list and access to an eleytronic library will be provided. There will be some projects to be undertaken between sessions. And there will be a few visits outside Clitheroe on course days.
To book your place on either the Introduction or the full course,
please complete the booking form below and forward to the course
organiser with a cheque for the deposit of £20 payable to Transition
Town Clitheroe. If you are doing the Introduction, the deposit will
be returned to you at the end of the session on the 14th Feb. If you
are doing the full course it will be returned at the end of the last
session. Participants on the full course are expected to make every
endeavour to complete the whole course. If you find you are unable to
attend a session, this must be discussed with the course tutor and
organiser at the earliest opportunity.
