This weekend workshop gives you a chance to learn more about the practice of permaculture design. It will help you to improve your design skills by working with experienced designers. We also intend that the results will bring lasting benefit to subsequent visitors and to the family who live on site.

 The workshop will be based at a family home at Wilpshire near Blackburn, close to Ramsgreave and Wilpshire railway station on the Clitheroe line. The site is a garden-sized area of pasture land that is being considered as a suitable site for sharing with other members of the local community.

What will we do?

Who should be there? 

The weekend is a great opportunity for people who are interested in getting to know a wider network of like-minded people in the Northcountry, including those who are interested in improving land use and quality of life.

We are doing all we can to keep the costs per person as low as possible. This includes bringing lunch to share, and perhaps carrying out some small tasks as practical assistance to the property owners. The fees we charge (see outline below) may vary from person to person, depending on their circumstances. Fees may be reduced, particularly if we are getting several bookings from people who can afford the full rate. Please consider the following scale and complete and return the booking slip to confirm your place.
